Stretch Film
Stretch Film or Stretchable Plastic, sometimes known simply as film, strapping, stretchable strapping, vitafilm, pallet wrap and by a thousand other names.
In short, it is the roll of stretchable plastic used in warehouses, in production processes and in distribution centers to securely bundle palletized loads for safe transport, storage and handling. This helps guarantee the safety of personnel, operations and products.
We strive to create a standardized product with a minimum thickness of 18 µm and a net weight of 1.7 kg for approximately 735 feet, equivalent to 1,800 feet stretched. With a guaranteed minimum stretch of up to 250%.
We use especially lightweight cardboard cores to include the maximum amount of plastic per roll, keeping it an easy roll to handle for the operator while ensuring more product.
Other producers use heavier cores (tubes) to simulate a larger roll at a lower cost; in the end, you buy less plastic, and it's more expensive per gram. Don't take our word for it, see for yourself.
